Project Overview

The Lundquist Institute for Biomedical Innovation is a non-profit biomedical research organization that was founded in 1952. The Los Angeles Biomedical Research Lundquist Institute was a ground up new construction project in Torrance, CA.  The development is on the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center campus.  The project included laboratory and office space utilizing high performance MEP systems including a dual temperature chilled water system and waterside economizer.

  • Mechanical Systems including central utility plant, AHU and VAVs

  • Lab Exhaust

  • Electrical, Emergency Power, UPS, Lighting Controls

  • Plumbing Systems including Emergency Water System, Domestic Hot and Cold Water

  • Building Automation System
