Project Overview
The Santa Clara Valley Medical Center (SCVMC) Bascom Seismic Improvement Project is an HCAI 1 regulated project that focuses on upgrading the General Hospital building to meet seismic safety standards and complete hazardous material cleanup by 2027, ensuring a secure environment for patients and staff. GMC Cx is providing technical commissioning for utility upgrades and all MEP and building automation systems, verifying functionality, optimizing energy performance, and ensuring compliance with hospital and seismic standards. This rigorous process guarantees reliable, efficient operation of critical healthcare systems, delivering a resilient and sustainable facility that supports safe, uninterrupted patient care.
