Value Provided

GMC Commissioning's technical value was brought to the project through in-depth expertise.  Our ability to communicate effectively, appropriately address relevant issues, and provide creative troubleshooting suggestions allowed the project to stay on budget and schedule.

Project Overview

GMC Commissioning has worked on major West Coast bases for the United States Marine Corps, Navy, and Air Force.

GMC Cx provided whole-building, technical commissioning services for the renovated buildings including all MEP and building automation system components. GMC Cx was brought on early for a design assist role and worked with the teams on design phase reviews, acceptance criteria, owner requirements, submittal reviews, and test development. GMC Cx ensured that every piece of equipment installed operated per the design intent and documented that all equipment worked as a fully functional system.

The Nellis Air Force Base B324 project focuses on the renovation and repair of Building 324 to support the Airman Leadership School, encompassing demolition, new partitions, finish replacement, and upgrades to building utility systems, including fire suppression and seismic improvements. Commissioning efforts follow UFC 1‑200‑01, UFC 4‑101‑01, ASHRAE 202, and NAVFAC sustainability standards, with all major mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and controls systems included in the commissioning scope.
