Project Overview
The new Public Health Lab will provide administrative office and specialty space needs for the Health and Human Services Agency. The facility will include office accommodations for approximately 110 staff, conferencing and meeting space, media/ training center, storage/ warehouse areas, secured laboratories and associated support spaces, and bio-safety level specialty labs.
The project is located at the County of San Diego Operations Center campus. GMC Cx provided technical commissioning services on all MEP and building automation system components. Space types include office, warehouse, processing, cold room space storage, fleet maintenance and test kitchen spaces. Commissioning scope included mechanical, electrical, plumbing and process systems.
