Project Overview
UC San Diego Health is one of five academic medical centers within the 10-campus University of California system. Covering approximately 60 acres, the Hillcrest Campus is located 13 miles south of the UC San Diego La Jolla Campus and is a critical regional resource. This facility will serve as a platform to improve outpatient care delivery at UC San Diego by housing disease-specific centers, including Cancer Care, and consolidating all outpatient, ancillary, professional and support services needed to treat specified conditions.
The project is a 270,000 SF OSHPD-3 facility including a 650,000 SF parking garage and 20,000 SF central utility plant. GMC Cx is providing LEED Enhanced commissioning services.
