A Framework for Quality Management
Commissioning is a process, not a point. It serves as a robust framework for quality management. Commissioning is more than just a checklist; it's a formalized system designed to meticulously verify that the project's intent translates into tangible, documented results. By focusing on operational requirements and acceptance criteria early in the design process, we can ensure that the project is designed, constructed, tested, and turned over to meet quality expectations.
Hands-On, Technical Commissioning
Our team’s focus is on solving issues, not creating them. We proactively work with the team to identify, resolve and close issues. Our method of technical, hands-on commissioning includes the process of proper and complete documentation to verify all aspects of the design and installation. We self-performed all testing. This approach leads to properly functioning building systems at turnover, not a year after occupying the space. We emphasize preparation, communication, and accountability. These are our core values.
Transparency
For full transparency to the project team, we use Facility Grid which is a cloud-based commissioning software. Our entire commissioning process, documentation and tasks are directly accessible by any team member at any time from any location.

Harnessing the Latest in Building Analytics Technology
The MBCx process has been shown to reduce building energy waste up to 15 percent. GMC Commissioning uses custom, in-house developed MBCx algorithms hosted in Skyspark. We combines the speed of an industrial historian with the modeling capabilities of document and graph databases to store and organize heterogeneous data, creating unified models of your buildings, equipment, devices and sensors. GMC Commissioning uses 24/7 trend data to monitor and evaluate a building’s operation and energy consumption.

Ensuring Quality Beyond Completion
Our commitment to quality doesn't end when the project is completed. We provide support for the owner through the warranty period, revisiting the site to ensure that the quality of the final product is maintained long after the dust has settled.

Commitment
Our objective is to ensure the quality and performance of our client’s investments. GMC Commissioning is committed to commissioning your facility to ensure that all building systems are well designed, complete, and functioning properly upon occupancy and that the building operation staff has adequate system documentation and training to efficiently operate the facility.
Commissioning, Qualification and Validation
Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation (CQV) is an essential part of manufacturing pharmaceutical and biotechnology products. Following current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) ensures facility, utilities, and process equipment functions as required by regulatory agencies, as well as meeting internal quality standards.
Consistency is key in biopharma manufacturing. Our OQ protocols verify that each component operates per manufacturing and process design requirements.
Our team of Subject Matter Experts can manage your CQV project start to finish:
Lean commissioning and qualification programs based on ASTM e2500
User Requirement Specifications (URS)
Commissioning and Qualification Strategy
Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)
Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
P&ID walk-downs and verification of system drawings as required.
Writing reports to summarize validation/verification/commissioning and/or revalidation/verification/commissioning activities.
Investigating abnormal testing results.
Preparation and execution of leverageable commissioning protocols including Installation Verification, (IV), Operational Verification (OV) and Integrated Systems Testing (IST).
Validation Master Plan and Project Plans (VMP)
Functional Requirements Specification (FRS)
Risk Assessment (RA) and System Impact Assessments (SIA)
Conducting design review (DR) and design qualification (DQ) protocol preparation, execution and follow-up.
Trace Matrices.
Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) development for both operation and maintenance programs.
